Due to legal liability issues, in April 2007 the CEA-HOW Teen Program and food plan were discontinued with the request that the Teen Program and Teen Food Plan no longer be used or distributed. Because the need among our young people is great, in 2011 the Delegates at the World Service Business Conference established an Ad Hoc Committee to research reimplementation of a CEA-HOW Teen Program; however, to date the legal issues have not been resolved. This decision affects CEA-HOW as a whole; it is not an issue that can be agreed upon by individuals or individual meetings. We invite you to discuss with your Intergroup, Area Representatives, and WSBC Delegates further investigation into the feasibility of reimplementing a CEA-HOW Teen Program.
