The Special Needs Subcommittee of the Education Conference Committee serves the fellowship to ensure that the CEA-HOW program is inclusive for all who share our disease and want recovery.

How to find out if the meeting can accommodate your special needs.

If you or an interested person you know has special needs (e.g., blind, hearing impaired, in a wheelchair), we encourage you to reach out to the meeting you are interested in attending to confirm if that meeting will meet your needs (e.g., are there stairs; is there an accessible entry door). On our website https://www.ceahow.org/en/find-a-meeting/ the name of the meeting contact person, along with all their contact info, is listed for every meeting.

Also note, we have a number of Phone bridge and Zoom meetings! If you cannot make a meeting in person, we have lots of recovery available through your phone and online.

If you have any difficulty in reaching a meeting or getting your questions answered, please let us know. The contact information for the members of this year’s Special Needs Committee appears below; we will help you find a meeting that meets your needs.
